The openKylin ZephyrProject SIG is dedicated to research and community co-building of real-time operating systems based on Zephyr, targeting scenarios such as industrial control and embodied intelligence that require deterministic response and software-hardware collaboration. It aims to promote the usability and ecosystem completeness of Zephyr on domestic hardware platforms, and foster positive interaction with the openKylin and upstream Zephyr communities. Specific goals include: providing real-time system capabilities and reference solutions based on Zephyr for industrial control, embodied intelligence, and other fields; advancing the porting, adaptation, and long-term maintenance of Zephyr on major domestic and mainstream hardware platforms; improving foundational capabilities such as the kernel, drivers, middleware, and development toolchains to lower the barrier for developers; exploring collaborative integration paths between real-time OS and Linux, virtualization, and robot software stacks; tracking cutting-edge technologies in Zephyr and embedded real-time domains, and actively contributing patches and experience upstream; and collaborating with other openKylin SIGs to jointly promote the construction of an open-source real-time operating system ecosystem.
